Student Dormitory: Understanding the Emotional Effects of Space
The students are slowly but surely increasing because the population of the town, metropolis and urban areas are carrying on growing. Some of these people originate from other provinces and far aside countries. A number of the students study on colleges that are known for their historical backgrounds and reputable knowledge discovered by teachers. These universities are usually seen in urban and rural areas wherein the available land area intended for building a composition is scarce and usually cost high. A great urban location is characterized by higher population density and vast man features when compared with areas encircling it. Cities may be urban centers, towns or perhaps conurbations. Best universities and schools generally have limbs in these cities. The masse in these urban centers every institution semester are congested and may lead to overcrowding. Students today are living in the dormitory which is adjacent and near to institution. Dormitories are classified as multi-story constructions and majorities are found inside urban community. The university or college belt in the Philippines is a good example of an urbanized area with colleges and colleges around. It includes allot of dormitories which provides the student with cafeterias, meals branch, day-to-day stores and a place to sleep and examine. Interior spaces can affect students psychologically which will cause problems in studying and creating jobs. The problem requires a design of a dormitory which can understand the psychological associated with spaces. Areas which can be established for learning, eating, sleeping and for multi-purpose. Behavioral research of learners in a particular area may predict spaces that function most. A small space of any tenant living inside must be able to do all his needed activity.
